Classes will take place on a weekly basis with two hours of in-class lessons. Lessons will begin with new vocabulary and will proceed to introduce grammatical structures, sentence frames, and everyday skills. Two hours weekly of homework will be assigned to supplement in-class learning. Homework will be assigned either through Burlington English or through the class workbook.
Students are expected to be no more than 10 minutes late to class and miss no more than 5 classes – of which no more than 3 absences may be consecutive. Excessive absences will result in a recommendation to stop the class and recommence upon the beginning of the new semester.
